Plastic Is Now Nature Drawing Workshop

Constance Old leads Plastic Is Now Nature, a drawing workshop at BoxoPROJECTS on Saturday, October 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. The workshop considers plastic, the desert and deep time through discussion and drawing. Participants head outside to sketch rocks and flora on the property, then return to the studio to draw the shapes and colors of plastic collected in the desert. Those sketches become a large group drawing and individual works. All art materials are supplied. Bring a colored plastic object that’s neither white nor clear. Registration is free through Eventbrite. BoxoPROJECTS is at 62732 Sullivan Road in Joshua Tree.
