New Moon Night Sky Program - November 7, 2026
Galaxies, nebulae and star clusters fill a 98-inch screen in the outdoor amphitheatre at Sky’s The Limit Observatory & Nature Center. The New Moon Night Sky Program runs Saturday, November 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with commentary and a tour of the night’s constellations by docents or visiting astronomers. After the presentation, guests can look through the dome’s 14-inch Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and additional telescopes outside. Astronomer-docents will be on hand to discuss the objects in view. Reservations are required through Eventzilla, with a nonrefundable donation of $25 per vehicle. Walk-ins and bikes aren’t allowed. Arrive 30–45 minutes early to park and find the stage at 9697 Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms. Guests may linger after the two-hour program, but the dome and restrooms will close. The program is outdoors. Rain, high winds or other circumstances may cause cancellation; Sky’s The Limit will provide an alternative date, but donations won’t be refunded, including if the ticket holder cancels. Check Eventzilla for current availability.
