Fool for Love

The Karma Compound returns to The Palms for three final encore performances of Sam Shepard's Fool for Love on Sunday, Sept. 20, Thursday, Sept. 24, and Sunday, Sept. 27. The site-specific outdoor production places the play's bruised former lovers and old family damage in the Wonder Valley night. Lette Allen plays May, Deacon Ledges plays Eddie, Michael D. Simpson plays Martin, and Kevin Bone plays The Old Man. Christi Waldon directs, and Catt Christine performs live pre-show music. Box office and bar open at 7 p.m.; arrive by 7:30 p.m. Bring a camp chair, blanket, or cushion, or book a vehicle pass for up to four guests. Limited folding chairs are first come, first served. Tickets start at $33, and vehicle passes are $111. The production includes adult themes and strong language.
